Farm Sculptures

Wanderings around the neighbouring fields and trails abutting our land bring to the eye strange alien shapes and mechanicals. Standing at rest this hayrack looks almost sinister, violent. But, out in the fields, pulled by some old rusting Ford tractor, the hayrack pulls and tosses the hay with what seems to be a joyful abandon - much like a child throwing leaves into the air just to watch them dance.

A rusting, though still useful, hayrack resting on our neighbour's land.

Love these pictures and the writing. Makes me homesick as I grew up in the countryside in France. Go on Linda!
